HALOTEL PUT CUSTOMERS AT THE HEART OF ITS BUSINESS, REDUCES BUNDLE COSTS


Revealing its commitment in putting customers at the heart of its business, one of the fastest growing telecommunication company in Tanzania, Halotel has embarked in bundle-cost-reduction approach that will see more lower-income earners smile while overcome tough economic conditions.
“Customers are our number one priority. We listen to them to understand their changing lives, the pressures they face and what matters most to them. As a company we have decided to come up with this approach so as to enable our customers avoid unnecessary cost when communicating.
“We have launched a new service that will enable Halotel customers purchase Special bundles through Halopesa,” Deputy Managing Director of the company, Nguyen Van Son, said at the launch of the service.
He said that for a customer who uses five hundred Tanzanian shillings( Tshs 500) a day, he can now join this special package through Halopesa and get up to 32 minutes to call all networks, 250 Mbs and 550 SMS. For the same (Tshs 500) he can as well join a weekly bundle and get 300 Mb which will be used throughout the week.
A customer with Tshs 1000 can access up to 52 minutes to call all networks, 350 Mb  and 1,000 SMS to be used throughout the week. To subscribe via Halopesa dial *150*88# and select number 2," said Son.
"This service is targeting low-income clients who always want to stay connected with their loved once but at a price they can afford," added Son.
Since the inception of Halotel in Tanzania, the company has been offering the best value-for-money-services by combining both quality and variety at a reduced rate to ensure everyone has access to communication.
Apart from making transactions and paying bills through their mobile phone, Halopesa allows customers to also register to various bundles at a 30% reduced cost and he/she can use the discount as their talk time.
