HALOTEL DISHES OUT TSHS 50M TO SUPPORT EDUCATION SECTOR


One of the faster growing telecommunication company in Tanzania, Halotel has provided our financial contribution of Tshs 50 million to support education sector in the country.
According to the company, the mount will be used to support Dar es Salaam regional office campaign for the construction of Offices for Teachers in 402 Schools in the region ( 295 being primary schools and 107 Secondary Schools) which are faced with shortage, resulting in to unfriendly work environment for teachers in Dar es Salaam region.
"We realize that the best education for students and teachers is one of the strongest factor in promoting the education sector in the country…in view of this we have decided to cooperate with the office of the Dar es Salaam Regional Director for providing our financial contribution of Tshs 50 million to achieve a construction project teachers' offices are in line with improving the working conditions of teachers and enhancing their effectiveness in educating students who are today's and tomorrow nation," Halotel’s Deputy Managing Director Pham Dinh Quan said.
We are pleased with the initiatives which have been taken by the government for the development of this country especially in the education sector which is the backbone for the development of each country in the world,” he said.
Halotel has been in frontline of collaborating with the government in improving the education sector through technology, for instance the company have been implementing the integration of more than 400 schools across the country and the Internet service which has the fastest speed.
