The TPB Bank has continued to expand its network base by opening a branch at Kwa Mrombo area in Arusha in an effort to get closer to customers.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, the TPB Bank Board of Directors Chairperson, Prof. Lettice Rutashobya, said that the purpose of opening this branch is to take banking services as close as possible andenable the general public access its services on top of modernizing delivery so that people can continue enjoying affordable services.
She said Kwa Mrombo residents would also benefit from various loans being offered by the bank to the satisfaction of the needs of groups, small, medium and big enterprise operators, workers and even retirees.
“It is a great pleasure for us within the TPB to have extended our services to as far as here Kwa Mrombo, It is my expectation that this branch will raise the number of customers because we offer better and tailor-made loans to the satisfaction of an individual customer and even informal groups in society”, Prof. Rutashobya said.
She said that at present they have a special agenda for supporting low income earners.
“TPB is going ahead with its plans of opening more branches across the country to come closer to the people. Within the period of this year, by the time we are opening this branch, we had extended our network to Mwanjelwa in Mbeya Region, Mto wa Mbu in Monduli District and Temeke in Dar es salaam.
On his part, the Kwa Mrombo Branch Manager, Mr. Hussein Jalala, praised what he called good response from the residents. He said they are set to provide quality services to the satisfaction of customers. He called on resident institutions, including colleges, to open their accounts with the TPB for quality and affordable services
