FNB OPENS NEW BRANCH IN ARUSHA


First National Bank Tanzania has opened new branch in Arusha Region to cater for the growing customers’ demand for financial and banking services necessary in speeding up economic growth.
FNB Chief Executive Officer, Dave Aitken said the launch of the new branch is specifically geared at easing access to FNB services and meeting fast growing demands of banking and financial services in the northern circuit zone.
“Inauguration of the Arusha branch is a display of our continued investment and strategy of driving access to financial services in the country. It is also in the interest of the rapid growth of Arusha which plays an integral role in the economic growth of Tanzania.”
Arusha branch located at PPF Plaza is the tenth amongst the FNB Tanzania branch network as part of its strategic expansion plan to cover all key areas in the country.
“We welcome the FNB presence in Arusha and look forward to assisting you to establish the FNB brand here and beyond,” the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr Ashatu Kijaji said
She said that Arusha region has enormous economic potentials and the recent growth in various economic sectors is a positive sign of growing exponentially.
She said Arusha has not only generated significant wealth and enterprise, but also contributed immensely to the economic growth through tourism and other productive sectors. “Arusha has huge untapped economic potentials and some of the fastest growing businesses across all key economic sectors.
We hope FNB presence will play a key role in the development of small, medium and big businesses through advanced and innovative banking solutions,” she said.
