‘CASTLE LAGER 5S’ SOCCER COMPETITION AT FINAL TOUCHES


Preparations for ‘Castle Lager Africa 5s’ soccer competitions are at final stages. The battle has kicked off this week at different venues in Dar es Salaam.
The organizer is Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL), through its brand. Castle Lager, whereby participating teams will have to comprise of five players each, including one for reserved.
Consumers are supposed to purchase Castle Lager beer, then after will seal special forms to propose five names to generate squads. No any other charges are endorsed for registration and participation.
This procedure will be conducted during a special campaign to be held at 160 bars.  A number of ten locations in Dar es Salaam, each with 16 bars have been allocated for the campaign.
Speaking to journalists in Dar es Salaam, Castle Lager Brand Manager, Pamela Kikuli said that, from the preliminary, the next stage would be voting for one representative team to be done by customers of that specific bar. 
“From there, we will have a special bonanza, before we get only 10 teams that will compete at the final battle to be held on April 28th, 2018 at The Leaders Club grounds in Dar es Salaam,” said Kikuli 
According to Kikuli, the event at the Leaders Club would involve ‘Nyama Choma’ and music entertainment. 
The winner will take part in Africa tournament to be held in Zambia, but also the Africa winner will win the trip to Russia during the World Cup tournament in June this year, together with two soccer fans who will be obtained through a special raffle of Castle Lager.
Meanwhile, Kikuli named as Soccer legendary, Ivo Mapunda as the ambassador for the campaign. She said, he would train participants during the tournament.
Mapunda is the former soccer player (goalkeeper) for Prisons, Simba, Yanga and Taifa Stars.
