Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) turnover declined to Tshs 1.01billion compared to Tshs 85.80billion posted on the previous period.
According to Zan Securities weekly wrap-ups, CRDB bank dominated the market share by 85 percent.
Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL) contributed 5 per cent, Self-listed Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange at 3 per cent and Tanzania Cigarette Company (TCC) at 2 per cent.
Top gainer for week under review was TBL appreciating in value by 0.76 per cent closing the week at Tshs 13,300 per share.
Total market capitalization decreased by 1.99 per cent, closing at Tshs 20.35trillion while domestic market capitalization decreased by 0.28 per cent to Tshs 10.05trillion.
Comparatively, key benchmark indices were in the red territory with the Tanzania Share Index (TSI) capped at 3,834.29 points, 0.28 per cent lower than the preceding week. The All Share Index (DSEI) closed at 2,113.10 points, 1.94 per cent lower than last week.
Similarly, the three sector indices were in the green and red territory with the Industrial & Allied Index closed at 5,329.15 points, same as last week.
Banks, Finance and Investment Index closed at 2,428.47 points, down by 1.46 per cent. Commercial Services Sector Index closed at 2,462.24 points, same as last week.
