WS Insight (formerly Warrior Security) hosted a Gala Dinner on Thursday evening to celebrate a decade of achievement as one of the most trusted, private risk and security management companies in East and Central Africa.
“After 10 years, I am proud to say that our company, Insight, which began as a small operation in Arusha back in 2006, is now employing 1,500 staff in Tanzania alone, and a total of over 7,000 employees, spread across 5 countries,” Tony Sugden, CEO and co-founder of WS Insight said.
The gala event was held at the Sea Cliff Hotel brought together over 100 private guests from a wide range sectors, who were well entertained by renowned Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi. There were also awards for staff who have been with the Company for over 10 years.

Founded in Tanzania, WS Insight expanded into South Sudan in 2008, and to the DRC in 2011, to Zambia in 2013 and to Kenya in 2014, changing its name and rebranding from Warrior Security to WS Insight in March this year. The Insight Group’s current turnover is in excess of USD 35 million annually. Clients include Tier One Mining, Oil & Gas, UN, NGOs, government and commercial entities in some of the most difficult and complex environments in the world.
