Passengers travelling with Emirates in economy class can now carry 10-15kg extra baggage on select destinations, the Dubai-based airline has announced.
According to the airline’s website, the offer is valid for Sale until September 30, 2017 and travel until 13 December 13, 2017.
Passengers travelling to Dar es Salaam, Abidjan, Accra, Dakar, Entebbe, Harare, Luanda, Lagos, Lusaka, Manila, Cairo, Casablanca, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Algiers Guangzhou and can carry up to 45kg.
Passengers flying to Karachi, Dhaka, Sylhet, Chittagong, Mumbai, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jakarta, Cebu, Clark and Colombo will be able to carry 10kg extra on select flights.
However, passengers travelling to Amman, Islamabad, Kabul , Khartoum, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Tunisia and Peshawar can carry up to 40kg on all Emirates flights.
“The offer is in addition to the existing free baggage allowance of 30kg,” said Emirates, “and will only be applicable to tickets purchased in UAE for directional travel commencing in Dubai to … select destinations only.”
The airline also has special baggage limits for Skywards members.
Silver member can carry 12kg extra, gold members 16kg extra, and platinum members have 20kg extra of baggage.
