Local industries and residents who are using electricity in Msalala District Shinyanga region and some districts of Geita Region will also benefit from the investment,” Bulyanhulu Gold Mine Capital Projects Section Leader Jiten Divecha said.
He added that “Acacia strives to deliver shared economic benefits to its host communities and stakeholders through sustainable projects.’
During the construction of the STATCOM, members of the community near Bulyanhulu Gold Mine were provided with job opportunities.
