ZANTEL LAUNCHES ‘JERO YAKO TU’ CAMPAIGN TO REWARD ITS CUSTOMERS


Zantel has unveiled an exciting campaign dubbed ‘JERO YAKO TU’ literally meaning, ‘It is only your 500 shillings’, a promotion which seeks to reward loyal customers with mega prizes upon purchase of airtime from as little as TZS 500 shillings. 
The three months campaign is effective from this week and will see 235 lucky winners walk away with various prizes from Zantel.  The grand prize for the promotion will include 3 Suzuki Carry trucks to three lucky winners. Weekly prizes include;-1 Motorcycle, 4 bicycles and daily prizes include; - 1 4G smartphone and 50,000/= cash. 
According to Zantel, ‘JERO YAKO TU’ campaign comes to reward and appreciate Zantel customers after a successful network modernization and the launch of 4G network across 22 regions in Tanzania. 
Speaking during the launch in Zanzibar, Zantel Chief Executive Officer Sherif El- Barbary said, “At Zantel, we value the unwavering support that our customers have been showing us over the years; this is why, we believe that they deserve to be appreciated for their continued loyalty especially for making us the leading cellular network in Zanzibar as well as the best data provider in Tanzania”. 
To participate in the draw, El Barbary said, one is required to have a Zantel SimCard and recharge from as low as 500 shillings to automatically enter into the draw. However, he added that, to stand a chance of winning the fabulous prizes, one will have to recharge quite often for as much as they can. 
He further said, “Competition in the market is heating up and Zantel does not plan on slowing down and as we speak, we have already completed the exercise of upgrading of our new sites to 3G and 4G, making Zantel one of the leading Telecoms in terms of coverage in the whole country”.
